Saint John, N.B. – A virtual deep dive showcasing how Cooke Aquaculture raises world-class Atlantic salmon has earned a major public relations award.
The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) presented Cooke with the Best Multimedia Project award at its National Conference in Winnipeg on June 7th. Headquartered in Toronto, CPRS is a professional society for practitioners of public relations in Canada.
This Excellence Awards Competition category celebrates communications projects using a range of multimedia tactics to achieve an organization’s communications objectives, including but not limited to video and audio recordings, video news releases, podcasting, digital media, or computer-generated slide presentations developed for internal or external target audiences.
As a family company, Cooke develops educational multimedia materials that teach children and all ages about the importance of marine aquaculture farming. This supports learning more about sustainable local food sources for communities, the science and technology involved, and the ocean of career opportunities available in the industry.
